Even til' this day, I find it next to impossible to even imagine a plain dinosaur on a cover of a rap album because the last time I looked & browsed everywhere in the rap section in any music store local or major retailer I have never seen a single sighting of a dinosaur on a rap album cover (If you have please let me know if you see one & send me the image via email!!)... It was more than a blast to illustrate a wicket roaring skull of a Tyrannosaurus Rex originally etched on a 12' x 12' black inked scratchboard then submit a scan to a rap record label owner Stevie Ray based south of the glorious California Bay Area, which regionwise, it was known for tons of underground rap & hip-hop compilations that glutted the music markets for 20 plus years... He is indeed a very open individual for a rap artist & executive owner of his label imprint & he is one who wanted to bring that idea followed by the formula & format he had planned which he factually did & he has a spent a tremendous amount of time & investment to assemble together a major underground rap/hip-hop compilation comprised of a wide variety of raw talent both veteran & aspiring... After he completed this project, he sent me the final cover which depicts the infamous ghostly T-Rex in the middle & it looked good... Weeks later he posted the official tracklisting that contains 22 tracks filled with various artists ranging from his hometown which is Salinas all the way to San Jose all the way to Vallejo... When it comes to the variety of artists he brought in & the type of production held down; I have to say it's a totally different type of rap compilation coming from that region from all the others I heard in the recent years... But like those other comps I heard this whole entirety of work is just as worth checking out as much & he bascially stuck to that format to make this be considered a true compilation... Peep this!!
This is the 1st single off this compilation "831 Zhit" featuring Yun-Gun, Stevie Ray, Just Nice, Dee-Boi, & Superior 1 produced by Indecent The Slapmaster
