About 3 years have passed since I met up with local hip-hop artist Legion X to create album cover art for his music projects & then being totally blown away after he made a music video that featured one of the illustrations I made for him (see April 2017). It was truly a blast & an honor working with him as he became one of the easiest & downright coolest clients I ever worked with. It was a fun local opportunity I couldn't turn down on or else I would be a fool if I did. Well last month, the cover art I created for him has surfaced on some music streaming platforms. This one was for a special short collaboration project X made with another talented hip-hop artist from Spain who goes by Chester. The title for their EP is called Cthulhu Raps which was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's classic story. X was fortunate to have me as his artist at that time after reading some Lovecraft & thinking of my style of art. So hell yeah!! I was 100% with it. I fully illustrated the cover with pencil, pen & ink on an 11" x 14" 2-ply paper, knowing that I will make a couple of mistakes. When I submitted the art to him, he was very impressed. The only alteration that had to be made was the pendant. When I saw it displayed in all current platforms, I thought the finalization looked a little better than the original drawing because of the alteration. Nevertheless, this was a hellava fun project we got to team up for. Now the music behind the album art was interesting too as X & Chester are both wild lyricists and the theme sound they are on is very experimental. It has an electro-rock atmosphere all throughout. Even the remixes extended from the EP were pretty amazing, as they were remixed by Peter Lansford. Another aspect that will stand out is that Chester's lyrics are all in Spanish but he went in & killed his verses on every track on this EP. Shouts out to Chester for being the other half of this project as he is one of the most talented Spanish hip-hop artists I know & I hope to hear more music from him in the future. Cthulhu Raps is now available on music streaming platforms like Apple music, Spotify, Amazon, Youtube

Nethaworld Youtube Channel sets sail with a full "short storyesque" art video slideshow "Pantera En Palenque"
Aight then deviants, if ya are still out there on the look out for me; it has been quite long. But haven't neglected the Nethaworld. NEVER!!! I'm back than ever... Back in the mix!! Back with the full launch of my official Nethaworld Studios Youtube Channel!!! That's right you hidden creatures!! It's been a lil' overdue about extending my body of work to youtube so you can view & explore a wider range of wicket biodiversity throughout my future artistic renditions gathered in a series of art video slideshows. Not only that; I'm going to handpick art off my slideshows & be able to make limited edition prints of them to be sold on my future Etsy store... Don't forget I'm also in the midst of working on my first nature-inspired illustrated storybook "NETHAWORLD: Dawn of a New Age" which sorta initially the same title of my imprint inspired the story. Anywho; I've been knocking out so much art so there's alot more coming; for show & for sale!! In the meantime, enjoy my 1st full video slideshow of all new art I just completed for my channel. Damn!! It took quite a long time for me to put this all together starting from the 1st initial concepts to mastering the finals of my pieces... This slideshow I made is actually in a form of a short story, it portrays a lone jaguar or "pantera" as the Spanish calls it, that survived a global extinction hiding deep in the ever-standing ancient man-made ruins of Palenque. However, one lil' thing you will notice in the elusive robust cat is that it's pelt & flesh is completely skinned & removed away. It's stunningly a skeleton lurking & that is basically all this cat has left & more stunningly, it's still alive & lurking underneath the looming storms of post-extinction as you view & hear it's surroundings. Regardless of its skeletal state, the jaguar shows no sign of slowing down & falling apart and no matter how it does it, it still got it's all to go in for the next ambush...
Media used for this slideshow are: colored pencils on black paper, pen & ink on 2-ply Bristol paper, & scratchboard
Go see the video & please subscribe to Nethaworld!! Taaa...
